Deutscher Widerstand – German Resistance

These pictures, taken in Munich earlier this year, show pedestrians crossing a street on a rainy day. So what’s so special about the pictures of some ordinary citizens crossing an ordinary street? What makes it all unusual is that there is neither a traffic light nor a stop sign on this street and these people are crossing it illegally, breaking with the world-renowned German self-discipline of strictly heeding laws, rules, and regulations.
This act alone qualifies these people as resistance, because they are courageously rising up against a culture that is deeply rooted in Prussian military traditions and deifies blind respect for order and absolute obedience to the system.  These men and women throw themselves in front of Bavarian drivers on a three-lane street, risking not only their lives but also a hefty fine by German Polizei, not to mention the disdain of their fellow citizens as traitors and terrorists. Glory to the Deutscher Widerstand! In order not to jeopardize the security of these brave men and women, we choose to not disclose where this crossing is located.

You must really hate Germany. I don’t know what we did to offend you so deeply that you have to make all these hateful posts, but I hope you will over come it eventually.

Hi. I don’t hate Germany, I just hate fascists, oppressors and those idiots who think they are or know the best. There is more criticism in this blog of my own home country than of Germany, if you have not noticed. Cheers.

That’s resistance? There will be more rules to obey from a wheel chair.
    Long Live German Order !
